“Dagot’eeâ€- Hello and welcome to the new website of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Our home is here in eastern Arizona, where we have lived for thousands of years. We believe that we come from the Earth, and that we belong to the earth. Our beautiful home was given to us by our creator.
The White Mountain Apache Tribe is a federally recognized Native American tribe that has a long and rich history in the Southwest region of the United States. The White Mountain Apache Tribe is based in Whiteriver, Arizona, and its reservation encompasses a large area in present-day Arizona.
The White Mountain Apache Tribe is made up of a number of different Native American groups, including the Apache, the Yavapai, and the Tonto. These groups have a long and diverse history that stretches back thousands of years, and they have developed sophisticated systems of governance, trade, and social organization that are based on their relationship with the land and the resources it provides.
