REVOLUTIONIZING ENERGY STORAGE AND MINING IN ATLANTIC CANADA

Since its inception on the 13th of July, 2021, Vortex Energy Corp. has made substantial strides as a burgeoning mineral exploration entity headquartered in the vibrant city of Vancouver, Canada. The enterprise is committed to developing and evaluating natural resource properties within North America, with a steadfast focus on spearheading advancements in salt mining, energy storage, and innovative hydrogen solutions.

INDUSTRY-LEADING SALT MINING PROJECTS

Vortex Energy’s robust exploration ventures prominently feature the North American Salt project near the monumental Atlas Salt’s deposit—which boasts a staggering 999 million tonnes of indicated and inferred resources, characterized by a remarkable 95.6% NaCl composition. Vortex has proficiently identified multiple salt structures on their property, all conveniently accessible through established infrastructure.

ADVANCED HYDROGEN & ENERGY CAVERN STORAGE

The company's East and West Salt Structures stand among the most significant storage caverns to be identified along the east coast of Canada. These colossal geological formations can house an estimated 800,000 tonnes of hydrogen within an extensive network of over 60 subterranean caverns.

INNOVATIVE AMMONIA-TO-HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGY

Vortex Energy prides itself on holding exclusive licensing and rights to a cutting-edge ammonia-cracking reactor technology alongside a membrane separator technology currently under development. This initiative targets the efficient transformation of ammonia into hydrogen and boasts an impressive Readiness Level (TRL) ranging between 3 and 4. In a commitment to sustainable practices and forward-thinking energy solutions, Vortex Energy Corp. stands at the forefront, crafting the future landscape of salt mining and hydrogen storage in Atlantic Canada.

Fire Eye Project Overview

Location
The Fire Eye Project is strategically located on the north shore of Fire Eye Lake, approximately 1.8 kilometers southeast of the Middle Lake Uranium Occurrences (SMDI 1710), within a highly prospective uranium-bearing geological environment in northern Saskatchewan.

Project Highlights

Historic trenching and grab sampling have returned uranium values of 0.27%, 0.34%, 0.08%, and 0.03% U₃O₈, confirming the presence of near-surface mineralization.

Mineralization is spatially associated with conductive zones identified by electromagnetic (EM) surveys, suggesting a possible link to graphite-rich structures, although no graphite was directly observed.

High radioactivity readings (5–6 times above background levels) were recorded on the western flank of a northeast-trending Archean granite ridge, pointing to additional exploration targets.

Exploration History

Multiple exploration programs were conducted in 1971, 1977, and 1978, employing airborne and ground EM surveys, gravity surveys, geological mapping, diamond drilling, and scintillometer surveys.

These historical efforts outlined anomalous uranium zones, many of which remain underexplored by modern methods.

A 2022 MAG-TDR survey was superimposed on historical radioelement data to refine targets and highlight structural controls on mineralization.

Geological Setting

The Fire Eye Project sits within the Johnson River Inlier, part of the broader Archean basement complex, and is flanked by lithologies of the Wollaston Domain known to host significant uranium deposits in northern Saskatchewan.

Key Geological Units:

Middle Lake Granite (Unit Wfn): A sheared Archean granite featuring inclusions of pelitic schist, amphibole, and metadiorite. This granite is locally overlain by basal units of the Wollaston Group.

Wollaston Group (Unit Wpsn): Fine- to medium-grained graphitic pelitic to semipelitic biotite gneiss, interlayered with meta-arkose and quartzite — highly favorable for uranium mineralization due to their reductive potential and structural complexity.

Pegmatite and Aplite Dykes: Intruding the pelitic gneisses, particularly in the SMDI 1710 area, associated with known uranium anomalies.

Fire Eye Lake Area (SMDI 1832): Characterized by quartz monzonite to granite of Archean age, unconformably overlain by mineralized Wollaston Group gneisses that also contain calc-silicate horizons, impure marble, and metadiorite — indicating a complex and potentially fertile geological setting.

Exploration Potential

The combination of:

Documented high-grade uranium occurrences,

Extensive structural complexity,

Conductive zones mapped by EM,

Strong radiometric signatures,

And favorable host lithologies,

...positions the Fire Eye Project as a highly prospective exploration target for basement-hosted and unconformity-style uranium mineralization.

Future exploration will focus on follow-up of historical anomalies using modern geophysics, geochemistry, and targeted drilling to evaluate the scale and continuity of uranium-bearing zones.
