Sun Peak Metals Corp. (TSXV: PEAK | OTCQB: SUNPF) is a copper–gold explorer focused on volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) systems in the highly prospective Arabian-Nubian Shield.
Its flagship Shire Project covers roughly 1,450 km² across six exploration licenses in the Tigray Region of northern Ethiopia (Meli and Terer held in JV with Ezana Mining; the remainder 100% owned). Following the 2025 acquisition of Saudi Discovery Company, Sun Peak added a 100%-owned portfolio of VMS base-metal and gold licenses in Saudi Arabia — including Safra, Al Miyah and Halahila — and commenced a 2026 field program in January 2026. Work at Shire is currently under a force-majeure declaration tied to the suspension of activity in Tigray.
