ABOUT AZUCAR MINERALS

Azucar Minerals Ltd. was created in 2018 with the completion of the Plan of Arrangement of its predecessor company, Almadex Minerals Limited, and the related CAD$19 million private placement by Newcrest Mining Limited into Azucar.

Azucar’s mandate is to thoroughly explore the El Cobre project, an ~11,860 Ha property which covers multiple copper-gold porphyry targets, as demonstrated by recent drilling. Azucar is fully permitted for drilling and funded for an active exploration campaign.

The El Cobre Property claim block covers approximately 11,860 hectares, which contains copper-gold porphyry mineralization over a strike length of at least four kilometres.

The property is located adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 75 km northwest of Veracruz in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. Veracruz is a major port city and naval base with an international airport and numerous daily flights to and from Mexico City and other national and international destinations.

Azucar has discovered five copper-gold porphyry zones within the property along an approximately 4-5km trend, stretching from Norte down to Encinal in the southeast. These zones are defined by distinct Cu-Au soil anomalies, discrete, positive magnetic features, a large IP chargeability anomaly, and drilling.
