Fox River Resources Corporation is actively involved in advancing the Martison Phosphate Project situated near Hearst, Ontario. Designed to cater to North American markets, the project involves the establishment of a comprehensive phosphoric acid production facility. This plant will use the Martison phosphate deposit along with sulphuric acid obtained either from nearby base metal smelters or a company-built sulphuric acid plant, utilizing affordable sulphur from Western Canada. The combination of these two key inputs will be employed to produce phosphoric acid, which will then be used to manufacture products for the fertilizer and industrial phosphate sectors.
The project enjoys a strategic location, offering easy access to Western Canada and the U.S. Midwest markets, as well as excellent infrastructure, including rail, power, and labor, and a plentiful supply of either sulphur or sulphuric acid.
