EXPLORATION EXCITEMENT: THE PROMISING CATCH PROPERTY IN THE HEART OF YUKON

PRIME LOCATION AND ACCESSIBILITY

Situated in an underexplored part of central Yukon, the Catch Property covers an expansive area of 117 km² and is conveniently located 56 km southeast of Carmacks. This promising site benefits from proximity to critical infrastructure—being merely 10 km away from an all-season highway and a high-voltage power line, which significantly bolsters logistic operations. The property is accessible by both float plane and helicopter. It is situated within the traditional territory of the Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation, ensuring logistical operations can be supported year-round.

INAUGURAL DIAMOND DRILLING SUCCESS

The maiden diamond drilling initiative executed in the autumn of 2023 has produced remarkable results. Initial analyses from the first two holes drilled at the Diorite Zone have yielded 116.60 m of 0.31% copper with 0.30 g/t gold, underscoring the potential of this new greenfield copper-gold porphyry discovery. Thus far, the property showcases significant copper and gold soil anomaly measures, with a particularly extensive 5,000 x 500 m anomaly observed within the exploration zones.

ROBUST MINERALIZATION EVIDENCE

Rock samples collected from the Main and Diorite Zones recorded peak values of 3.88% copper, 30.0 g/t gold, 228 ppm molybdenum, and 89 g/t silver. The Main Zone averages a rock grade of 0.32% copper and 0.70 g/t gold from surface collections, indicative of a highly mineralized area. Similarly, the Diorite Zone showcases an average rock grade of 0.41% copper and 1.07 g/t gold, enhancing the anticipation for further significant findings.

DIAMOND DRILLING HIGHLIGHTS

The Catch Property's inaugural diamond drill program concluded late in 2023, encompassing five drilled holes and a combined depth of 2,462 m. Drilled holes CA-23-001 and CA-23-002, positioned at the Diorite Zone, confirmed the presence of sulphide mineralization to their terminus depths. These holes aimed at an induced polarization chargeability anomaly underlying high-grade surface mineralization, suggesting that profound mineral deposits exist within the property's subsurface. Results from three additional drill holes located 2 km north at the Main Zone are highly anticipated, as they are expected to validate further the comprehensive presence of copper and gold mineralization across the property.

ASSAYS RESULT SUMMARY

The initial analysis of results is highly encouraging. Drill hole CA-23-002 intersected a large interval with noteworthy copper and gold grades, including a higher-grade sub-interval which enriches the overall prospectivity of the site. The prospect of intersecting significant potassic alteration remains, with the possibility of encountering higher copper and gold grades in the untested core of the porphyry system. A robust follow-up drilling program will commence in the spring of 2024 to vector toward this potential core with great optimism.

GEOLOGICAL CONTEXT AND POTENTIAL

The Catch Property lies within the geologically auspicious Stikine Terrane, adjacent to the substantial Teslin-Thibert fault system. This terrane's history is rich with copper-gold-molybdenum porphyries, drawing parallels to other notable deposits within the region. The Semenof Formation primarily underlies the site, punctuated with alteration and mineralization that indicate a copper-gold±molybdenum bearing porphyry system in proximity. In conclusion, the auguring results from preliminary explorations at the Catch Property poise the site as an emerging contender for copper and gold mining in Yukon. With a combination of strategic location, promising geological indicators, and early drilling successes, the mineral exploration community awaits future explorations on this property with high expectations.
